UNSW President and Vice-Chancellor at Joint Book Launch
UNSW's new Vice-Chancellor and President Professor Ian Jacobs attended the very lively Joint Book Launch of How Reading is Written: A Brief Index to Gertrude Stein (Wesleyan University Press) by Dr Astrid Lorange and Turbo Folk- Music and Cultural Representations of National Identity in Former Yugoslavia (Ashgate Popular and Folk Music) by Dr Uros Cvoro on 12 February at UNSW Art & Design.
Following speeches by Associate Professor Anna Munster and Professor Jill Bennett launching the books of Dr Lorange and Dr Cvoro respectively, the Vice-Chancellor took the opportunity to address the crowd, expressing his excitement at engaging with the Faculty and extending his congratulations to the authors.
Attendees also had the opportunity to view the works of Art & Design postgraduates on display.
