Quantum computing will radicaly transform our lives, impacting every aspect of our digital world. It will revolutionise data on a scale much larger than currently experienced. This panel discussion will look at the potential for art and physics connections. It will envisage creative engagements with quantum information, quantum mechanics, uncertainty principle, metaphysics of causation and entanglement.

The panel discussion will include Professor Gerard Milburn (Theoretical Physicist and Director, Centre for Engineered Quantum Systems, University of Queensland), Associate Professor Paul Thomas (Artist and Director of Fine Art Program, UNSW Art & Design) and Dr Joel Pearson (Cognitive Neuroscientist, UNSW Brain Sciences) and will be chaired by Professor Robert Clark (Chief Scientist in Residence, UNSW Art & Design and former Director, ARC Centre of Excellence for Quantum Computer Technology).
